ABOUT VENTURE PLEX

VenturePlex is located on the Southside in the heart of Jacksonville's most modern business district. This unique facility is just a stone's throw from north Florida's hottest business, shopping and entertainment complex, the St. Johns Town Center. Out-of-town members can travel to and from major hotels or extended stay executive accommodations during the day. At night, everything an out-of-town businessperson needs is right here. The idea behind the design is to provide local members a prime location for their business guests and to make life on the road convenient for travelers who frequent Jacksonville for their company's business needs.

The vision of VenturePlex's ownership group goes far beyond that of leasing a typical executive office space. It's about helping people succeed in their businesses. "We help small growing companies and entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground," says VenturePlex co-founder Steve Potter. "My education and life experience is in entrepreneurship. Although people just starting out have a good grasp of what their vision is, they often fail due to business applications they don't understand. The concept of VenturePlex is to give new businesses a solid place to launch, and existing businesses faced with downsizing a place to restructure their companies."

At VenturePlex, members and clients can buy exactly what they need for the long term and only pay for other services when they need them. Common office amenities such as conference rooms, guest reception areas, corporate mail services, break rooms and lounge areas can be included in the office lease or simply purchased as needed by all membership levels, virtual office renters or external businesses. Additionally, VenturePlex training rooms were professionally designed to accommodate all types of training and seminar needs. Food service and break areas are located adjacent to the TrainingPlex training room for convenience and group control.

"As a long term goal," continues Potter, "VenturePlex intends to work with other ownership groups of vacant office buildings in the North Florida region to develop satellite locations that will be linked on the same network. This would provide our clients direct access to an enormous resource of business services and entrepreneurial advice. Through our VenturePlex facilities, we hope to provide small business owners and entrepreneurial members with a virtual Board of Advisors where they have a central place to go for information and to discuss their short-term and long-term business planning."
